The TLS260-250Q is for those seeking a tunable light source with enhanced performance and capability. Similar to the TLS-250QR and TLS-250QU, these light sources come fully assembled, pre-aligned, with characterization test report. The TLS260-250Q provides 20% additional output intensity than those models. A 6335 250 W QTH lamp provides visible to NIR output, with minimal UV emission. QTH lamps also operate with much greater output intensity stability than arc lamps, as the TLS is operates the lamp with less than 0.05% light ripple. This lamp was selected for use with the TLS due to its significantly longer lifetime: six times longer than the 6335 used in the TLS-250QR and TLS-250QU models! Two lamps are included with the TLS for your convenience. Resolution selection of 5 nm, 10 nm, 20 nm, or 30 nm is possible. Spectroscopy scanning operations the TLS is ideal for are especially simple with the integrated OPS Power Supply. This power supply features enhanced firmware capabilities including Oriel detector readout and spectroscopy scanning operations such as QE Scan, Transmittance/Absorbance, and Spectral Responsivity without the need for an external power meter. These spectroscopy scans are performed from a PC via USB 2.0. The output flange of the TLS260-250Q is interchangeable between Newport’s 2-inch Lens Tube and Oriel’s 1.5-inch flange coupling accessories, depending on the requirements for beam size. 360˚ flexibility over the orientation of the output beam is enabled by the rotatable output flange and optics.
