The XPS-DRV02L is a software configurable low-noise amplifier for 3-phase brushless motors. This driver has been optimized to perform with the XM linear motor stages, enabling 1nm MIM performance. The XPS-DRV02L supplies a maximum output current of 2 Amps per phase and 44 Vpp. The XPS-DRV02L requires 1 Vpp encoder input signals which is also used for motor commutation. Motor initialization is accomplished through a proprietary and patented method that results in insignificant stage motion, without the need for hall effect or other sensors. Ideal for applications requirinig optimized incremental motion performance. The XPS-DRV02L has to be ordered with a complete motion system in order to setup the proper configuration. Depending on the level of MIM, the system may require additional electronics.
