The XPS-RL2X is a high-performance,very easy to use, 2-axis integrated motion controller/driver. Using the same robust QNX operating system as the XPS-Qx, it has a faster PCI bus enabling 10kHz servo control per axis. The web interface has been improved for easy login, configuration, programming, etc. High-speed communication is achieved through 10/100 Base-T Ethernet for outstanding trajectory accuracy and powerful programming functionality. Higher performance I/O's and PCO functions are included. Proprietary universal driver modules allow the XPS to drive 1 to 2 axes of any Newport actuator, linear, rotary or NanoPositioning stage. By using pass-through drive modules, the XPS is also capable of controlling many other motion devices, whether they use stepper, DC brush, DC brushless rotary or linear, voice coil or piezoelectric actuation. Driver Modules must be purchased separately.
