Braked Knob Adjustment Screw, Ball Tip, 9.6 mm Travel, 1/4-100

The 0.38 inch (9.6 mm) 9366 Adjustment Screw provides smooth, wobble-free adjustment combined with exceptional long-term stability and low susceptibility to thermal variation. It is the same 1/4-100 precision screw used in our optic mounts and allows you to build your own mounts or positioners. In addition to a travel of 0.38 inch (9.6 mm); the screw has a ball tip, braked brass bushing, and is knob adjusted. Outstanding positional and thermal performance is achieved using a proprietary assembly process. This assembly process uses tightly toleranced subcomponents and the ideal amount of lubrication. The small amount of lubrication is optimized to mitigate the effects of hysteresis and long-term creep caused by lubricant migration.
