Digital Exposure System, Research Lamp Sources

The 68950 is a Digital Exposure System for Research Lamp Sources. The system is a light intensity controller and digital timer in one. The light intensity controller maintains a constant light output level from an arc, deuterium, or quartz tungsten halogen lamp, whereas the digital timer enables timed exposures and dose control. RS-232 communications allow for computer controlled operation.

The light intensity controller and digital timer functionality is programmed by the Digital Exposure Controller (DEC) model 68945. The large LED readout on the front panel displays timer and light intensity controller (LIC) information.

The system consists of the following:

• 71582 UV-Enhanced SI Cooled Detector Head
• 70018 BNC cable
• 70062 Temperature Control cable
• 70043 Specialty Connector cable

An adapter kit is required to mount the Si detector head directly to a research or Q series lamp housing, sold separately.
