The TLS260-300X is for those seeking a tunable light source with enhanced performance and capability. Similar to the TLS-300XR and TLS-300XU models, these light sources come fully assembled, pre-aligned, with characterization test report. The TLS260-300X provides 20% additional output intensity than the models previously mentioned. A 6258 300 W ozone free Xe lamp provides broadband UV to NIR output. The integrated Cornerstone 260 monochromator enables resolution selection of 5 nm, 10 nm, 20 nm, or 30 nm. Spectroscopy scanning operations the TLS is ideal for are especially simple with the integrated OPS Power Supply. This power supply not only operates the lamp with maximum output intensity stability, but the firmware’s capabilities include Oriel detector readout and spectroscopy scanning operations such as QE Scan, Transmittance/Absorbance, and Spectral Responsivity without the need for an external power meter. These spectroscopy scans the TLS is ideal for can all be performed from a PC via USB 2.0. The output flange of the TLS260-300X is interchangeable between Newport’s 2-inch Lens Tube and Oriel’s 1.5-inch flange coupling accessories, depending on the requirements for beam size. 360˚ flexibility over the orientation of the output beam is enabled by the rotatable output flange and optics.
