Infrared Light Source, 140 W IR Emitter, Q Series Housing

The 6363IR is a complete infrared (IR) light source kit suitable for applications requiring intense near to far-IR light output without ultraviolet and visible light emission. The 6363 140 W IR emitter provides a high intensity, spectrally uniform output practical for use in IR instrumentation. Its shape and mounting position within the housing allow the emitter to optically align with the input slit of a monochromator. A gold coated- off axis parabolic mirror is included due to its large collection angle, high reflectance over a broad IR wavelength range, no chromatic aberration, and focal point displaced from its mechanical axis to block stray light from the output path. All components necessary for operation of the IR light source are included and require minimal assembly before use.
