The 1544-B-50 DC-Coupled NIR Fiber-Optic Receiver is ideal for applications that require high sensitivity, high speed, and clean responses. It's clean responses and 32 ps rise times make it well-suited for time-domain characterization of 10-Gbit/s components. It's high gain and well-behaved frequency response also makes it useful for frequency-domain measurements. For higher responsivity from 780-1630 nm, this photoreceiver has a 50 μm core multimode fiber input and consists of our new, improved InGaAs PIN photodiodes followed by a GaAs HBT amplifier.
