National Instruments SCXI-1162 32-Channel Optically Isolated TTL/CMOS Digital Input
Features
The National Instruments SCXI-1162 is an optically-isolated digital input module. It has 32 channels of optically-isolated digital inputs that are arranged into 8 isolated banks of 4 input lines each. This optical isolation eliminates ground-loop problems and isolates the host computer from damaging voltages.
The SCXI-1162 interfaces to field digital logic signals, such as TTL and CMOS, where high common-mode voltages can be present. This module is controlled by the DAQ device serially in multiplexed-mode over the SCXIbus allowing multiple modules to be easily intergrated without additional DAQ devices or cabling. The SCXI-1162 can also operate in parallel mode when cabled directly to a DIO device.
With the SCXI-1162, the SCXI chassis can serve as a digital signal monitor in laboratory testing, production testing, and industrial process monitoring.
