The National Instruments PCI-6713 / PXI-6713 are high-speed voltage output modules that combine the latest in PC technologies to deliver simultaneous, multichannel updates for control and waveform output applications. These 8-channel 12-bith modules can be used in a variety of applications including: sensor/signal simulation; power supply control; stimulus/response; and high-speed, deterministic control. These versatile devices commonly replace other instruments including: low-speed arbitrary waveform generators; standalone PID controllers; and function generators.
The PCI-6713/PXI-6713 modules are capable of updating at rates up to 1 MS/s, allowing them to generate waveforms up to 500 kHz. These modules can be used with the LabVIEW Real-Time Module to deliver real-time, deterministic control loop execution.
