The National Instruments AT-5411 device is a high speed arbitrary waveform and pattern generator device. The AT-5411 and PCI-5411 are identical in all respects except that the AT-5411 is available on the PC/AT machines with ISA bus and the PCI-5411 is available for the PCI bus. The AT-5411 can generate arbitrary waveforms at the output at the sustained update rate of 40 MHz. Because deep memory is available on the AT-5411, you do not need to tie up the bus by transferring the waveforms as they are being generated. Various operational modes, such as continuous, stepped, and burst, are available on the device to further enhance the capabilities of your arbitrary waveform generation.
