The National Instruments AT-485 / AT-232 Series ISA Serial Interface Card are asynchronous serial interfaces for communicating with serial devices. Interfaces for ISA are available with up to 4 ports depending on the interface bus used. You can install and use these boards as standard serial ports from your existing applications. All interface boards include an enhanced serial driver for improved performance, reliable interrupt sharing between ports, and access to the advanced transceiver control mode of the RS-232/485 interface boards.
