Choosing a high-speed acquisition device starts with the signal and the required software architecture. PXI oscilloscopes, integrated FlexRIO digitizers and FlexRIO adapter modules are different types of hardware. A shared PXI form factor does not make them interchangeable.

These are headline model characteristics. Supported rates, channel configuration, input coupling, memory and software depend on the exact part number and operating mode. The adapter is named NI 5772, rather than PXIe-5772, and must be used with a supported FlexRIO FPGA module or controller.
Oscilloscope or FlexRIO?
Use the device category and programming model to narrow the choice. A reconfigurable oscilloscope can provide FPGA functionality without being the same product category as a FlexRIO adapter. Check the supported instrument driver, FPGA toolchain and examples for the exact model.
Sample rate is not analog bandwidth
Compare analog bandwidth, resolution, input range and simultaneous channel needs separately. A maximum sample rate can apply to a specific channel mode. Also check whether the acquisition is a finite record, a repeated capture or a sustained streaming workflow.
Check the input and the system
Read the input-range, coupling, impedance and maximum-overload specifications before connecting a signal. An overload rating is not a selectable measurement range. Check chassis slots, power, cooling, controller resources and software support before choosing a device.
