Overview

Product overview

Key product information and technical features.

The USRP-2930 connects to a host computer over Gigabit Ethernet for host-based digital signal processing. Independent transmit and receive signal paths support full-duplex operation across its 50 MHz to 2.2 GHz tuning range.

The integrated GPSDO provides an OCXO reference for applications requiring stable frequency references or synchronization between radios. GPS disciplining requires a suitable GPS antenna with a clear view of the sky and appropriate reference-clock configuration.

  • Transmit and receive tuning from 50 MHz to 2.2 GHz.
  • Full-duplex operation with one transmit and one receive RF channel.
  • Maximum I/Q sample rates of 25 MS/s at 16-bit sample width or 50 MS/s at 8-bit sample width, subject to host and network performance.
  • Integrated GPS-disciplined oscillator for precision frequency referencing.

FAQ

Product-specific questions

Product-specific answers based on available technical information.

Is the USRP-2930 limited to 20 MHz bandwidth?

NI specifies a maximum instantaneous real-time bandwidth of 20 MHz at 16-bit sample width and 40 MHz at 8-bit sample width for both transmit and receive. Actual throughput depends on host and network performance.

Does the USRP-2930 include a GPSDO?

Yes. It incorporates a GPS-disciplined OCXO. GPS disciplining requires a suitable GPS antenna with a clear view of the sky; verify the reference source in NI-USRP.

Can the USRP-2930 transmit and receive simultaneously?

Yes. The USRP-2930 supports full-duplex operation and provides one transmit RF channel and one receive RF channel.
