Overview

Product overview

Key product information and technical features.

Designed for integration into OEM equipment, the sbRIO-9627 provides NI Linux Real-Time processing and user-programmable FPGA logic without a separate controller chassis.

Board-level integration requires attention to power, thermal design, and signal connections. Ethernet includes one front-panel interface and a second interface routed through the RMC connector.

  • Real-time processing and reconfigurable FPGA resources on a single PCB.
  • Selectable analog input ranges of ±10 V, ±5 V, ±2 V, and ±1 V.
  • Four analog outputs with a ±10 V range.
  • RMC expansion provides FPGA digital I/O and access to additional processor peripherals.

FAQ

Product-specific questions

Product-specific answers based on available technical information.

How are the 100 digital I/O lines connected?

There are 96 digital I/O lines on the RMC connector and four on the 50-pin IDC connector. Both groups use 3.3 V logic.

Does the sbRIO-9627 have two onboard Ethernet connectors?

The specifications list one front-panel Ethernet interface, Eth0, and one RMC Ethernet interface, Eth1. Using the second interface requires an appropriate RMC implementation rather than a second onboard Ethernet connector.

What distinguishes the two manufacturer part numbers?

NI identifies 783817-01 as the development kit and 783817-02 as the OEM kit. This catalog record does not establish which kit or accessories accompany the individual unit.
