The NI USB-6259 Screw Terminal is an M Series multifunction USB DAQ device with 32 analog inputs, four analog outputs, 48 digital I/O lines and two 32-bit counters. Integrated screw terminals provide direct signal wiring.

This screw-terminal configuration combines analog acquisition, analog generation, digital I/O and counter functions in an external USB device. It belongs to NI's USB-6259 M Series family.

Signals connect directly using shielded or unshielded wires, without a separate signal-interface accessory. Unlike the Mass Termination version, this configuration has no mass-termination connector for external DAQ accessories.

  • Seven selectable analog input ranges from ±0.1 V to ±10 V.
  • Analog output update rates depend on the number of active channels.
  • Integrated terminals support direct wiring without a breakout accessory.
