Overview

Product overview

Key product information and technical features.

The PXIe-7961 supplies the programmable FPGA portion of a modular FlexRIO instrument. A supported adapter module defines the physical analog or digital signal interface, while LabVIEW FPGA implements the application logic.

Peer-to-peer streaming allows data transfer to other supported FPGA or PXI Express modules without routing the data through the host processor. NI documentation also identifies FPGA coprocessing as a use that does not require an adapter module.

  • Reconfigurable Virtex-5 SX50T FPGA with 8,160 FPGA slices.
  • 288 DSP slices and 4,752 kbit of embedded block RAM.
  • Digital I/O configurable as single-ended lines, differential pairs, or a mixture.
  • Supports peer-to-peer streaming between supported devices.
