The cDAQ-9135 combines a CompactDAQ module chassis and embedded controller. Its built-in computer runs acquisition code without requiring a separate PC as the runtime host, and the cDAQ-913x family supports NI-DAQmx.

Configuration depends on the operating-system variant. Windows Embedded controllers are configured on the controller itself, using local peripherals or remote desktop, rather than appearing as remote systems in NI MAX on another computer.
