The PXI-6259 integrates analog acquisition, voltage output, digital I/O, and counter functions in a standard 3U PXI module. Two 68-pin VHDCI connectors provide signal access.

Sampling and output rates depend on channel usage. The multichannel analog input limit is aggregate, while the analog output update limit decreases as more output channels are enabled.

Seven bipolar analog input ranges from ±0.1 V to ±10 V.
Analog and external digital triggering.
X1, X2, and X4 quadrature encoder measurements with Channel Z reloading.
Six DMA channels for acquisition, generation, and counter data transfers.

Does 1.25 MS/s apply to every analog input simultaneously?

No. The maximum is 1.25 MS/s for one channel and 1.00 MS/s aggregate for multichannel acquisition.

Can the BNC-2110 expose all 48 digital I/O lines?

No. NI states that only 46 of the 48 DIO pins are accessible with BNC-2110 connectivity. When two BNC-2110 blocks are used, Connector 1 routing requires care because the block labels do not match the device pinout.
