National Instruments PXI-4220 Strain, Pressure, Force, Load Sensor Input Module
Features

  • 2 Channels that are Programmable per Channel for Quarter-, Half-, and Full-Bridge Sensors
  • Programmable 4-Pole Butterworth Filter per Channel
  • Dual Shunt Calibration Circuits and Programmatic Bridge-Nulling Circuitry
  • Automatic Module Synchronization through PXI Backplane

The National Instruments PXI-4220 Strain, Pressure, Force, Load Sensor Input Module is a full-featured DAQ module with dual 16-bit inputs for quarter-, half-, and full-bridge sensors. Bridge configuration, excitation, amplification, and filtering are fully programmable per channel. In addition, the PXI-4220 provides simultaneous-sample-and-hold capability to eliminate phase delay between channels. Each input channel of the module includes a 9-pin D-SUB connector for easy connection to bridge sensors, and programmable shunt and null calibration circuitry to improve measurement accuracy by eliminating gain and offset errors.

In addition, the PXI-4220 is designed to work with the NI LabVIEW graphical system design platform and NI-DAQmx driver and measurement services software. In LabVIEW, you can use the DAQ Assistant to configure the module and acquire data through a menu-based window, eliminating the need to manually program the device.
