The USB-7856 combines voltage measurement and generation with FPGA-based digital I/O in a USB-connected device. Its user-programmable FPGA supports onboard processing and direct control of I/O signals.

The FPGA can be customized with the LabVIEW FPGA Module for precise timing and control. Dedicated A/D conversion per channel supports independent timing and triggering, including multirate sampling and individual channel triggering.
