The National Instruments TBX-68 is a general purpose terminal block. It can connect up to 16 unconditioned analog signals as weel as excitation and digital signals. The block is used with the SH686 shielded cable.
The National Instruments TBX-68T is a 68-pin, DIN-rail mountable terminal block. It provides screw-terminals for 14 unconditioned temperature, voltage or resistance signals as well as for the excitation and eight digital lines. With onboard electronic circuitry, it can increase your sinking and sourcing capabilities to 64 mA and 15 mA respectively.
The TBX-68T features isothermal design, a sensor for cold-junction compensation on channel 0, a transparent plastic cover that minimizes thermal gradients across the terminal block, and autozeroing circuitry on Channel 1. It also has 26-pin latched connectors to which you can connect digital signal conditioning accessories such as the SSR-8, ER-8, and the SC-2060 Series. This block is also used with the SH6868 shielded cable.
