The NI SCXI-1314 is a screw terminal block that mounts to the front of the SCXI-1520 strain/bridge module. It provides sensor connections and sockets for quarter-bridge completion and shunt calibration resistors.

Which module uses the SCXI-1314?

NI documents the SCXI-1314 as a front-mounted screw terminal block for the SCXI-1520.

Is the SCXI-1314 the same as the SCXI-1314T?

No. The SCXI-1314 uses screw terminals; the SCXI-1314T uses RJ-50 connections for hardware TEDS smart sensors.

Can the completion resistors be changed?

Yes. They are socketed. NI specifies 350 Ω as the factory default and describes fitting 120 Ω resistors for 120 Ω strain gauges.
