PXIe-5840

The NI PXIe-5840 is a reconfigurable RF vector signal transceiver for signal generation and analysis. It covers 9 kHz to 6 GHz with up to 1 GHz instantaneous bandwidth, depending on center frequency.

The PXIe-5840 brings RF generation and acquisition into a PXI Express instrument. NI documents installation, configuration and device testing in its model-specific getting-started guide.

Front-panel reference-clock and programmable trigger connections support integration into measurement systems. The DIO connector provides access to FPGA multi-gigabit transceivers and general-purpose LVCMOS signals.

  • RF input and output for vector signal analysis and generation.
  • External 10 MHz reference-clock input and selectable 10 MHz reference or 156.25 MHz data-clock output.
  • Bidirectional PFI 0 connection for external triggers and exported events.
  • Software programming through RFmx or NI-RFSA and NI-RFSG drivers.

Which software can program the PXIe-5840?
