The PXIe-5171 combines eight simultaneously sampled voltage inputs with a PXI Express interface. Its analog inputs provide AC/DC coupling, 50 Ω impedance and a voltage range of -2.5 V to 2.5 V.

The module includes 1.5 GB of onboard memory and a programmable Kintex-7 410T FPGA. Its reconfigurable architecture supports custom acquisition, triggering, signal processing and data streaming, including peer-to-peer streaming.
