The PXIe-4497 measures voltage through 16 simultaneously sampled analog input channels. It offers two gain settings, input ranges of ±1 V and ±10 V, and AC/DC coupling. The analog inputs are not isolated.

For sensor-based sound and vibration measurements, the module provides 4 mA IEPE excitation and supports IEPE sensors, accelerometers and microphones. Its PXI Express interface places it within a modular measurement system.
