With its 2.26 GHz quad-core processor; 2 GB, 800 MHz DDR2 memory; and a high-performance 7200 rpm drive, it is ideal for high-performance modular instrumentation and data acquisition applications. Test, measurement, and control applications that are optimized to take full advantage of the four processing cores on this controller can achieve up to an 80 percent performance improvement over dual-core controllers with similar CPU clock frequency.
