The NI-9361 provides counter input measurement in the NI C Series platform. Its 37-pin male D-SUB connector carries the input connections, and the module provides 60 VDC channel-to-earth-ground digital I/O isolation.

Each channel can read a single pulse train, or channels can be combined to read up to four incremental encoders. The counters support encoder position and velocity measurements and synchronization with other analog, digital, and counter measurements in the chassis.

Internal switchable 1 kΩ pull-up resistor for direct connection of sensors with open-collector or push-pull outputs.
