Designed for industrial dynamic-signal measurements, the NI 9232 operates in NI CompactDAQ and CompactRIO systems. Its three channels acquire simultaneously rather than sharing a multiplexed conversion path.

The module accepts IEPE and non-IEPE sensors, including accelerometers, tachometers and proximity probes. Built-in anti-aliasing filters track the selected sample rate; compatible NI software provides condition-monitoring functions such as frequency analysis and order tracking.

No. The NI 9232 samples all three channels simultaneously at up to 102.4 kS/s per channel using its internal master timebase.
