The cDAQ-9171 is a CompactDAQ chassis rather than a standalone I/O module. Its single C Series slot and bus-powered USB connection provide a compact foundation for portable sensor and electrical measurement systems.

The chassis manages timing and data transfer between the installed C Series I/O module and an external host. Analog I/O, digital I/O and counter/timer measurement capabilities depend on the selected module.

  • USB 2.0 host connection with bus-powered operation.
  • Supports analog I/O, digital I/O and counter/timer measurements through the selected C Series module.
  • Four 32-bit general-purpose counters/timers are accessible through an installed hardware-timed digital C Series module for quadrature encoders, PWM, event counting, pulse train generation and period or frequency measurement.
  • Specified operating temperature range of -20 °C to 55 °C.
