The PCIe-6351 brings voltage acquisition, voltage generation, digital I/O and counter functions into a single PCI Express card. Its analog inputs are multiplexed rather than simultaneously sampled, so multichannel acquisition must be planned around the aggregate rate.

NI-STC3 timing technology provides independent analog and digital timing engines and retriggerable measurement tasks. NI identifies data logging, control and test automation as intended uses, with configuration and measurement support through NI-DAQmx.

Programmable analog input ranges from ±0.1 V through ±10 V.
Two 16-bit voltage outputs for analog signal generation.
Counter/timer functions support PWM, encoder measurements, frequency measurements and event counting.
NI-STC3 timing supports independent analog and digital timing engines.
