The PCI-6602 combines counter/timer functions and digital I/O on a computer-based PCI device. Its supported operations include frequency, period, and pulse-width measurement, together with pulse and pulse-train generation.

Digital I/O transfers are static and do not use handshaking. The maximum source-frequency rating increases from 80 MHz to 125 MHz when prescaling is used.

No. NI specifies 80 MHz without prescaling and 125 MHz with prescaling.
