The National Instruments PXI-8150 Series controllers are 3U PXI/CompactPCI embedded computers based on the PCI bus and Industry Standard Architecture (ISA). They are easy-to-use, high-performance platforms for controlling PCI systems and feature complete PXI functionality through interactive utilities and C function calls. This Series consists of the PXI-8155 and the PXI-8156 controllers and are installed directly in the system controller slot of the PXI mainframe. Both models are compatible with PC-compatible software tools, the NI LabVIEW and LabWindows/CVI application software, and the NI-VISA, NI-488.2M, and NI-DAQ software. Additionally, the PXI-8156 has Ethernet capability plus an IEEE 488.2 interface that is compatible with the NI-488.2 architecture.
