Overview

Product overview

Key product information and technical features.

NI documents the TB-2627 front-mounting terminal block for signal connections. Its cold-junction compensation sensor supports thermocouple scanning applications; the sensor is in the terminal block, not the switch module.

  • Selectable one-, two-, and four-wire multiplexer configurations.
  • Electromechanical relays for signal routing.
  • Hardware-triggered operation for deterministic switching.
  • Onboard relay counting for relay-use monitoring.

FAQ

Product-specific questions

Product-specific answers based on available technical information.

Why is the PXI-2527 described as both 32-channel and 64-channel?

Channel count depends on wiring mode: 64 one-wire, 32 two-wire, or 16 four-wire channels.

Can it switch 300 V at 2 A simultaneously?

Not simply on the basis of those separate ratings. Switching must also meet the power limit and the DC load curve in NI's specifications.

Which terminal block does NI specify?

NI specifies the TB-2627, which provides screw-terminal connections and a cold-junction compensation sensor for thermocouple applications.
