The REM-11120 adds temperature inputs to a modular NI Remote I/O installation. The system combines DIN-rail modules with an EtherCAT bus coupler and is controlled by a real-time controller, such as a CompactRIO Controller or Industrial Controller.

  • Adjustable input filter time.

Is the 24-bit conversion also the reported measurement word size?

No. The A/D converter is 24-bit, while measured values use 16 bits, including a sign bit.

Can the REM-11120 measure Pt100 sensors?

Yes. NI documents reading two Pt100 RTDs through the Cold Junction 0 and Cold Junction 1 terminals, with configuration through NI-Industrial Communications for EtherCAT in LabVIEW.
